IBEX HUNTS

The Stan countries are most associated with Ibex hunting and with good reason. The high cliffs of Tajikistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan harbor a great many of the worlds ibex and these adventures are worthy of dreaming about. We also hunt ibex in Iran, Mongolia, Spain, Turkey, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Macedonia, Slovenia and New Mexico. The vast majority of these opportunities exist from July to January annually, with a few exceptions.

Ibex hunts run the gamut of expectations, another very desirable characteristic. The Spanish hunts are very much considered a gentlemen's hunt, by no means a gimme but easier hunts. The Stan countries all require physical effort above and beyond an average mountain hunt. The Mongolia Ibex are somewhere in between and Mongolia is one of the greatest destinations on the planet. As with all mountain hunts, Ibex adventures require the mental capacity to deal with adversity and the ability to adapt and overcome. Across the board our Ibex adventures are almost 100% success, that is typically a direct reflection of the high animal populations almost everywhere they live.
